Our Journey

SpeakSphere has successfully trained 15 students across grades K–8 through our summer public speaking and debate bootcamp.

We proudly partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley to make communication skills accessible to every child.

Meet Deepika Sujay

Hi, I'm Deepika, a rising junior in the Bay Area, California with a deep passion for speech and debate. I discovered the extracurricular at 6th grade, and ever since then, I've explored various events in debate, spontaneous, and platform categories. Through the Speak Sphere, I hope to spark that same passion in students of all ages and empower them to find their voice through forensics.

Some of my notable achievements include:

  • California State Champion in Impromptu Speaking - May'25 

  • Placed Top 30 at National Tournament in U.S. Extemporaneous Speaking - June'25 

  • Berkeley Invitational Champion - February'25 

  • Stephen Stewart Invitational Champion - September '24

  • Semifinalist at the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions - May'24

  • Competed in over 30 tournaments in the past two years​
